Camel Lore, Facts, Researchers, and more

    Hi everyone!

I've been lurking around on the forum for quite sometime. For slight intro, I've worked with camels along with other exotics for a couple of years at an exotics farm that did a lot of other things. During my time there, it reaffirmed what I had felt about camels in the first place(and I'm forever in withdraw after leaving, lol), and I learned even more during my time there.

But now, I come to you all due to information gathering for a discussion that I'm going to be taking part in at a convention I'm going to.

So, I'm looking for all sorts of fun information. Folklore, some really rare facts that I may or may not have forgotten off of the top of my head, information about researchers(I heard that a couple of women were involved in researching camels in the middle east, but I'm not sure if that's correct), camels in art(I also heard a particular western artist did the most accurate camel sculpture ever after only seeing camels once-most everyone gets the tail wrong), and anything else that might make for interesting talk!
