In Turkey, hybrid camels known as Tülüs are used for the traditional sport of camel wrestling (Deve Guresh). In the West, this hybrid is known as the F1 hybrid, and is the offspring of a male bactrian (buhur in Turkish) and a female dromedary (yoz in Turkish). The wrestling is not a bloodsport like cockfighting, as the camels are muzzled to prevent them biting, and they're so beloved by their owners that matches are stopped to prevent harm to the camels.
