Hi all, I got this email and just wanted to let everyone else know about the camel training clinic that’s coming up.

----------------------------------------------

Hey all you past and future Semo Camel Clinic attendees. The dates for the 2007 camel clinic have been decided. This year we are having it May 18, 19 & 20. We have tried real hard to avoid any conflicts and we hope it will fit into every ones schedule.

This years clinic Smooth and I are very excited about. As much as we love having everyone here at the house, space and weather conditions have made us decide to have the clinic at an indoor facility. But don't worry you wont have any problems finding it, it is just one mile up the road from us on the same road we live on. Like I said it is all indoors, which means completely climate controlled!! That should really be a plus for all you vendors, no worries about all your merch getting wet!

We are also very excited to announce that Dr Anita Varga from Ohio State University will be returning this year. She made such a huge impression on all of us and we are very glade to have her back. For those of you who did not attend last year, she is a camel vet which for most of us will be the only one you will ever meet. Make sure you right down all your questions you might have so you wont forget to ask anything!

The scheduling will be similar to the years before, Friday afternoon will be early registration, getting your camel situated in its stall and of course the Meet and Greet with appetizers and drinks that evening. Unfortunately because we are having it at a locations other than our house we will not be able to unload camels prior to Friday and no dogs are allowed at the arena.

Saturday and Sunday will be all day events with donuts and coffee in the am. Lunch and dinner will served be Saturday and on Sunday we will serve lunch. Beverages are available to everyone through out the entire day.

As far as guest speakers and other special events and the vendors that will be attending I will be updating you all with that information as it comes available.

The pricing for this years event will be $175.00/day/person or $300.00/person for the weekend. And remember Friday is completely free! Don't forget this is a camel training clinic, so your camels are welcome as well. They will be an additional $150.00 for the weekend which includes stall, feed and training.

Please feel free to contact us with any questions you might have regarding the clinic, but remember I will be sending out flyer's with additional information very soon.

You can reach me at 573-204-1263 or my cell # is 530-586-0999 or you can always email me!

We hope to see old faces as well as new. Please write the dates on your calender today!

How far in advanced do we have to register? I have a camel, a truck, but no trailer as of right now. I have no idea if I'll have one by May. Unless there is another camel owner coming from CA or AZ that would be able to haul my baby with their's, maybe we could split gas together or the like.

I would not recommend hauling a camel that far for only a few hours of training that it would receive. Just go there and see how they train other camels, ask questions and likely they will show you how it’s done with one of the camels there. Best of all you meet other camel people and learn a lot from them too, along with making new camel owner friends.

This is one of the few times so many camel lovers come together in the USA and learn from each other. It really should not be missed!
