Sorry, I have not added the sound yet and you need QuickTime to open this.

After taking these photos you may be able to guess what I smelled like when I got back to the hotel :elephant

Oh yeah, make sure to turn the photo with your cursor.

Here's a 360VR photo showing the camels, carts and people at
the scale house in Bikaner. Actually there are 3 scale houses here, 2
of the are used for weighing their loads of grass that is used to
feed animals. One of the other scales is used for weighing sticks of
wood that will be used for cooking fuel.

On top of some of these loads you can see the blankets that keep the
cameleers warm when coming to market during the cold nights, also
there are bags of camel feed up there too.
Buyers show up in the morning checking the quality of the load, then
the camel pulls it over to the scale for a weight slip and the load
is delivered somewhere in town.

There is a grain store on the other side of town where trucks drop of
loads of peanuts and rice among a few things. The camel carts and
some ox carts are loaded up and these loads which are haul through
the narrow roads of town to the awaiting shops.

I spent many of hours riding along on these loads, there were times
when I would hop on an ox cart heading out of town and return on a
camel cart heading back.
