Well, I have not seen your camels yet but from the way the ground looks, I must have just missed them.
Is there a good time of the day to try and see them?

Well... my Animals are totaly free to decide where there like to stay. Probably you try again from time to time. The Weather forecast says snow for the next days. This could be a reason for them to turn back into the stable. I wish everybody good look!:) Normaly there stay inside by nighttime (GMT)

Did you know that camels sleep with open eyes? There is only a short time in the early morning where there take the head on the ground and sleep in the REM phase with closed eyes.

OH! I see them! They're inside lying down! It's 2:30 PM Eastern Standard Time, USA. They're beautiful! I see all four of them!!! I watched them later in the day, too ....... around 6 PM our time. It was midnight there. Three of them got up and went outside while one stayed inside and stretched out flat on its side for a few minutes. The others were outside for 25 minutes, then came in and laid back down in the same spots they were in before they got up. Fascinating! I love your camels! Thanks for sharing them!

I was watching them too last night as I working the graveyard shift this week. They are some beautiful animals. In the morning I saw someone in there with them as some of the camels were up and moving around.
What brought them indoors, was it raining there? Here in the US we had a lot of rain last night.

Today is the first time I've seen them in color! I think my computer is sick. They've been in black and white every other time I've been there. Is that a big ball inside the shed?

I made them last year a ball in wood like a "Camel-Toy". My Camels there lay down on this ball very selten. But in the Zoo of Zurich where i got the idea the camels there use the Ball every day and play with it.
Your Computer is not broken. Color or Black and Withe depends of the light. Often we have to dark now in wintertime. In the summer the stable and the camels are alltime in color.

Hi, Jorg!
[B]I've been away from Roger's site, here, for a long time! Do you still have your camera hooked-up? Sansibar must be a big boy by now! Is Goliah still there? Are you still on the Forum anymore?
Hi to Roger and my favorite love, Gobi! How are he and Dandy and the rest of the gang doing? I've been away tooooooooooooo loooooooooooong! Just now getting back with a reliable computer.:(

All of the animals are doing fine and Gobi still thinks he’s a puppy dog.
I just got back from 7 days at work and will be heading out to India early in the morning. This time I’m going to the Jaipur Elephant Festival, they will also have camels at the festival and I want to get some photos of the old camel saddles with guns mounted on them. I have one old historic photo showing a camel gun mounted on the saddle but the quality is not that good.
I love playing around the elephants and camels in India, and the people are so nice too!

Ooooooh, Roger! You are on the go so much! Is this the same festival that you've gone to before? Think you'll paint another elephant this year? :elephant
Can't wait to see your photos when you get back. Stay safe, and have a great trip! Hope the wars over there don't spill out into your area. :(
