I found a site with beautiful Dromedary Camel saddles that a person has re-made into footstools. There are 4 pages of them, and they're so beautiful!

I hate to break the bad news to everyone. Those are sold to tourists for furniture purposes rather than a camel, even though they often call them camel saddles. You will often see them on eBay for around $20 advertised as footstools or ottomans.
On CamelPhotos.com you will also see some of these that were mistakenly called camel saddles. Someday I need to fix that!
Ok, here's the real thing that I picked up sometime ago, it’s an old bedwin camel saddle with a lot of miles on it. You should notice that the wood where it sits on the camel’s back is at an angle to fit the back proper, unlike those ottoman types that are straight to sit on a level floor.

Yes, I mentioned in my post that they're now footstools. Mighty pretty ones at that! I wish there were some Mongilan saddles for sale that fit Bactrians. There are some posted at camelphotos.com that are beautiful! :applaus
That old one of yours is interesting! Any idea how old it is? It looks ancient and well-used! :D
