Does anyone know of a camel trainer in New England?
I live in Rhode Island and need someone willing to work with my two Dromedary females, 4 & 5 years old.

Stella, try contacting the closest zoo that keeps camels. You may be lucky and find someone that will be willing to come. I wasn't lucky with that option as the fellow who trains camels in my area is too independent to take private customers. He's willing to take my camel for a month ($2000), but won't train with me (beware of that). I wouldn't trust someone that doesn't want me around my camel when they're working with him.
Also, if you're willing to spend the money, contact Warrick at walkaboutcamels.com - his fee is high but he'll make the trip. I'm trying to organize a training clinic here in east TN to make it more affordable for everyone. He wants $800 for 4 hours plus plane fare.
Good luck!

Jo-Don Farms in SE WI is usually willing to travel to train camels. Bob works with the camels AND you. 1-262-835-2777
