Hi
Just wondered if anyone had experienced their camels forecasting the weather!
I know I may sound completely mad, but my camels do...
If it's going to be a clear night they sleep outside
If it's clear, but they know it's going to rain, they stay out munching, lay in the garden for a fuss, and then go in about 11ish
If it's going to rain the next day, they come in late and sleep inside
If it's going to be hot the next day, they spend an hour in the river before bedtime, then come in, spend a lot of time on their feet, and then cush late in the evening in the garden.
And of course, if it's raining constantly, they look at me with disgust from their house with their heads down low...
However, about an hour before it stops, they get perky, start standing on one another, hold their heads high, and usually send Claudia out to take a look!
There's nothing more amazing than camel behaviour!
