So anyone here from european union?
I am very interested in camel farming, but it is very hard to import camels to EU.
So any suggestions, experiances... would be appreciated.

Good Evening,
I have recently added two Bactrian camels to my farm.
I'm by no means a camel farmer, nor do I aspire to be, but during my search this last few months I've come in contact with a fair few import agents who primarily deal with the movement of camels around the EU.
My male came from Germany, and my female from a breeder in Northern France. There's also a nice lady that lives in the South of France who has some experience in these matters. Her name on this board is camelsinfrance.
Finally, I am aware that the European camel gene pool is rather limited, which may (and possibly is already) lead to health problems. Knowledge of parentage and grandparentage at a minimum is therfore advised.
There's also a person in the Black Forest area in Germany who regularly posts on this board. I'm sorry that I can't remember his username though.
