He was born exactly a year ago today! He got lots of fruit, and a piece of cake.
I love my camel. I wanted him so bad, I'm either crazy or it was fate, but I'm so glad I put that envelope in the mail for his payment.
It was a miracle even arranging shipment for him. I used a site online and trusted a complete stranger to pick him up for me and drive him here and not run off with half the shipment money and my camel. I'll never forget calling his breeder and asking about him. A vet tech answered the phone and told me a little bit about him, and that the vet would call me back as soon as she could. I'll also never forget the doctor saying, "So, you want him, then?" after we talked over the phone, and I said, "Yes, yes I do."
