He's a male, almost a year (his first birthday is Jan. 2nd).
I haven't decided on a name yet, and I've had him since he was 30 days old. As an excuse for my indecision, I'm going to "give him a name" for his first birthday.
He doesn't have any animals he's pastured with. I have a horse, but he's in the pasture across from him.

:D
You're like me. When I was raising horses, I had to think fast at the registration deadline for names - and as for stable names, it was usually 'filly', or 'colt' (or mare's name filly or mare's name colt) When I lost my stallion three years ago, his name was 'Big Guy' --- and he was 'Colt' for many years (until he was too old to be called 'Colt')
I always thought Joe would be a good name for a male camel (ie: 'Joe Camel' :D )
The pictures -- Eastern Washington (State) looks like your area (I'm on the west side of the state near Seattle)

Nice to know I'm not alone in my inability to name things. :)
I just call him "Baby". Which I think is starting to get a bit absurd.
I'm considering naming him "Avon", but I need to test it out some.
Really it does? I'm in Arizona, but I've been through that area, and I don't remember thinking it looked like home.

Eastern Washington is quite different than Western Washington (Seattle)
Your area is similar to Ellensburg / Moses Lake - probably a lot different in temperature though (it's hot in summer and snow / cold in winter in Eastern Washington)

I can't remember too much about it. I stopped off in Spokane, but I drove through pretty much the entire state and then down the West coast. Do you like it there?

I was born in the Seattle area and spent four years (in college) in FAR Eastern Washington (Pullman at Washington State University --- 80 miles south of Spokane) ---- My BS degree is in Animal Nutrition (I'm now interning as a computer Network Administrator at a community college)
I really like Washington State (except for the politics) although when I was in Vienna, Austria and Krakow, Poland this summer (after Israel / Egypt / Jordan) I really liked it there too. Both places were similar to Seattle as far as being green and the same type of plants - although few hills, much flatter, and lots more farm land where I was in Europe.
Was hard to tell from your pictures - although it looked a lot like parts of Eastern Washington at times. I'm quite sure if you've seen both you could see the differences --- Only time I was in Arizona was to see Hoover Dam when I was in Las Vegas for a few days.
Seattle usually doesn't get very hot in the summer (low 80s a few days in the 90's) and winter we sometimes do not get snow and when we do, it usually isn't for long --- although it snows in the mountains (lots of skiing --- although I have never been) Right now it is 46F at 2:30 PM (same temperature that it was in Krakow when I was there september 3-7) Which I like better than the heat (it was 109F in Eilat Israel when I was there - just ten days before I was in Krakow --- so Krakow felt wonderful)
