I just created two camel graphics (dromedary and a bactrian) that you can use as you want. I posted them on my vacation blog: http://nancysvacation.blogspot.com/
On my vacation (this past august) I was able to ride a camel in Egypt (Giza - overlooking the pyramids) and another one in Petra (Jordan) and I am now looking for my own camel :) (after years of riding and owning horses)

Love the graphics. And those are two places I'd really like to visit.
Are you looking for an arabian or bactrian camel?

I'm looking for a dromedary camel at first -- although I hope to be able to eventually own both. If a Bactrian camel came along for the right price and close by, I wouldn't turn it down.
I found a six year old female dromedary that may be for sale because they don't have time for her. Unfortunately I do not have my own place so I am looking for a boarding place close by that will board a camel until I can find a place of my own.
Israel, Egypt, Jordan was only half of my vacation - I also went to Vienna (Spanish Riding School) and to Krakow, Poland (Auschwitz-Birkenau and the Wieliczka Salt Mine, etc.) --- first overseas trip and I wanted to see as much as I could!

Before I got land, it crossed my mind to not wait to get my camel and to board one somewhere. And honestly I'm so glad I didn't attempt that, because I can't see any way it would have worked.
Not only will the horses freak out with a camel there, but in my opinion a camel needs way more daily interaction and attention than any horse, which could be hard for some people if boarded.
They're just so sensitive. A trained adult would definitely do better than a baby though (obviously).

I know - that's what I am thinking too. Although there are llama / alpaca farms as well as cattle here that would possibly work better than a horse barn.
As for the time - I used to live at the barn so that isn't likely a problem (being single and no family helps in that area) I'm one of those who can spend ten hours at the barn to ride one horse :D

A llama/alpaca farm sounds like a great idea. Especially if there were areas where he (or she) could go that were bigger than a horse stall.

Hi, Gamal,
How fortunate to be getting a camel (or two). I also rode camels in Egypt last February. A small group of us rode for about four days with the Bedouin people in the Sinai Desert. It was one of my favorite trips ever! The saddles at the Pyramids are much more comfortable and larger than the ones we used in the desert, the latter of which are made for smaller people. I look forward to more of your posts.

I've done graphics for years and have many graphics programs.
I'll make some larger ones when I get home tonight (west coast u.s. time)
Would you like transparent background? What color of camels? I'm not sure how much bigger I can make them and still have them look good --- I'll experiment tonight (I need to reinstall another graphics program then I will be able to make it much larger for sure)
