I am doing the research before buying my first camel. Because I know the importance of having a good veterinarian (I raised horses for years) I contacted a local zoo about veterinarians that work on camels and they sent me this link:

Dioli, M. (2007). Pictorial Guide to Traditional Management, Husbandry and Diseases of the One-Humped Camel.

Is a photographic CD-ROM with 1000 captioned pictures on disease, husbandry, slaughtering, age determination etc etc of the camel.
