Here is my first Zoomify pano, this is a pano showing a wide overview of the Pushkar Camel Fair from on top of a small hill. About 10 photos went together to make this and I hope to make a lot more of these showing other places in India where you will be able to zoom in for some even better close-ups

Here’s one that shows the town of Pushkar and the camel fair. This was during the last 4 days of the Camel Fair and about half of the camels had already gone. The photo is not as good as I would have liked with all of the smoke in the sky and a big mistake that I made, after setting my ISO for some lowlight shots and forgetting to set it back.

Here’s a fun one, but who out there knows how it was done?
You need QuickTime to view this:

Pushkar Camel Fair in the cool early morning as smoke hugs the ground.
Zoomify, Real Player 9 need to view it:

Pushkar Camel Fair at nighttime. Thousands of camels are at rest in the peaceful morning hours long before the sun comes up. But even at this early hour there is still some activity as people roam around picking up fresh camel droppings from behind the sleeping camels. You can also see a camel on its front knees as he tries to stick his head under the tent.
This pano was also done with CS3 Zoomify and you will need the Flash Player 9 to view it.

For that night view of the Pushkar Camel Fair I do have one more that is done with QuickTime as a large 360VR panoramic.

Ok, now that we all had a chance to Travel around Pushkar we will be leaving and heading out to Jaipur where we will check out the elephants at the Amber Fort. Often there are many more elephants here forming 2 rolls, but a lot of them have already done their quota of rides for the day and gone home. Most of the elephants live nearby but there are still a few that live down in the city of Jaipur, and it can take the slower ones close to 2 hours to get here in the early morning.

Hi all, I’ve been working hard on improving my 360 VR panoramic photos.
QuickTime is need to open them and the file size is around 2MB

This one shows camels at the water trough in the heat of midday with thousands of others in all directions.
In India do you know the word they use for telling the camel to drink? After this you will.

Here’s one showing the horses at the Pushkar Fair. These are Marwari horses that can be easily recognized by how the tips of their ears touch together. You can also see how they stack the horses out with a lead rope and a rope going to both hind legs.
In the roped off area is one of the places at the fair where they are drying out camel droppings and you can see a woman heading over there carrying a pan full of them on her head.

All of the horses look like they're tied together! If one runs, they all have to go! :rofl
